At the March 15, 2018 AGM it was noted that many Homeowners were confused in respect to WRHOA dues paid and outstanding. It is hard to believe that summer is almost over and that fall is fast approaching. With the lazy days of summer behind us, and back to school days are foremost in a lot of households, it seems like a good time to provide members with an update on the status of our Home Owner […]
A new mini-library scheduled to open in 2018 will serve residents in southwest Edmonton.
The “small-footprint” eplGO branch will inhabit a 3,000-square-foot space inside the Heritage Valley Town Centre, near 119 Street and 26 Avenue SW. Construction is scheduled to start in September and the library should open in the first or second quarter of next year, said Edmonton Public Library CEO Pilar Martinez.
The storefront library is a temporary solution until a larger branch can be built in the area.
Martinez said the Heritage Valley neighbourhood is a high priority for the organization. Population is booming in the city’s southwest quadrant where the nearest library branches are Riverbend and Whitemud Crossing — both about eight kilometres away.
The province is committing $400 million over the next four years for the development of a new hospital in the rapidly growing Heritage Valley area.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the past year has been a challenging time for the WRHOA. That said, I feel we […]

The WRHOA commenced legal proceedings against CondoPro, which are currently before the Courts. The Board of Directors for the WRHOA, is and has always been, comprised of unpaid volunteers. If anyone […]

As volunteers, and as permitted by the WRHOA Bylaws, the WRHOA retains the services of agents to administer the operations of the WRHOA. In this regard, on May 1, 2015, the WRHOA entered into a […]
